We Jacob Barrett and Thomas B Worrell Justices of the 
Peace in the Sounty aforesaid in the State of Virginia do 
hereby .certify that was Elizabeth J Crump the wife of George 
H Crump and Mary L Crump the wife of Richard A Crump 
Parties to the foregoing Deed bearing date on this 22nd day 
of Decr 1845 personally appeared before us in our county 
apart from their husbands and having the Deed aforesaid 
fully explained to them they the said Elizabeth J Crump 
and Mary L Crump acknowledged the same to be 
their act and deed and declared that they had 
willingly signed sealed and delivered the same and 
that they wish not to retract it – Given under our 
hands & seals this 22nd day of Decr 1845.
